Value Stream Mapping for Product Development

This workshop offers a proven and efficient method for applying the power of value stream mapping (VSM) to the product development process. During this two-day "process kaizen" event, participants will focus on a specific aspect of the development process to achieve dramatic improvements. Basic value stream mapping techniques will be introduced at the beginning of the course, requiring no prior training.

Attendees will engage in real-time exercises where they will create a current state value stream map, analyze it for potential improvements using proprietary techniques, and develop a future state map to guide their improvement efforts. This hands-on workshop covers all aspects of value stream mapping, providing a step-by-step process to systematically eliminate waste from initial concept development to successful product launch.
